Negli ultimi anni i mass media hanno iniziato a parlare della possibilit\u00e0 di un congelamento preventivo degli ovuli (social freezing) per le donne che, solitamente per motivi sociali, vogliono rimandare la loro maternit\u00e0 per poter realizzare i propri sogni, per dedicarsi alla carriera, ecc. Dal punto di vista medico questa procedura non \u00e8 del tutto ottimale. E ci\u00f2 per diversi motivi. In particolare dopo il trentacinquesimo anno di et\u00e0 la qualit\u00e0 degli ovuli diminuisce molto rapidamente. Il processo di diminuzione della qualit\u00e0 degli ovuli inizia a manifestarsi, anche se pi\u00f9 lentamente, gi\u00e0 dopo il trentesimo anno di et\u00e0. Tuttavia ci sono anche situazioni di vita, ad esempio serie condizioni di salute, l\u2019assenza di un partner, quando l\u2019unica possibilit\u00e0 per mantenere viva la probabilit\u00e0 di avere un discendente in futuro \u00e8 rappresentata dalla stimolazione delle ovaie, dal prelievo e dal congelamento degli ovuli della donna.<\/p>\n

a chance to have a baby in the future.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=\"1_3\" _builder_version=\"4.4.0\"][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=\"1\" _builder_version=\"4.4.0\"][et_pb_row _builder_version=\"4.4.0\"][et_pb_column type=\"4_4\" _builder_version=\"4.4.0\"][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.4.0\"]Lately the media have begun covering the possibility of preventive freezing of eggs (social freezing) for women, who, most usually due to social reasons, want to postpone their motherhood and start their family after fulfilling their life dreams, professional careers, etc. This procedure is not regarded as optimal by the medical science due to a number of reasons. It must be noted that the woman\u2019s age is the main limiting factor of reaching the ultimate goal, or pregnancy, and no woman should delay her effort of becoming pregnant too much. Especially after reaching the second half of the third decade of her life the egg quality begins to drop rapidly. This can be witnessed, albeit at a slower rate, already when the woman turns thirty. There are, however, such life situations, e.g. serious medical reasons, absence of partner, when the only chance for keeping the chances of future offspring is the stimulation of ovaries, collection and freezing of the woman\u2019s eggs. The same applies to this method as to all the others \u2013 the sooner it is performed the better. If only medical recommendations are to be considered, this procedure should be performed no later than at 25-30 years of age.<\/p>
