Freezing and cryopreservation of the sperm

The quality of genetic information contained in sperm may decrease with the age. Often, the Social freezing is sought by men who postpone parenthood. However, the sperm freezing is also suitable for men who perform high-risk occupation (for example with an increased concentration of harmful substances) that may affect sperm quality, or men who have to undergo some treatment that may interfere with the fertility – vasectomy, chemotherapy or radiation for cancer.
